AAA Team Ambassador
Recently, the AAA Knights hosted the Drew Doughty Atom AAA International Tournament in London. Joe O’Neill was a “AAA Team Ambassador” at the event.
Drew, a London native is entering his 15th season with the Los Angeles Kings.  Along with his parents, Connie and Paul, Drew developed this tournament which raises close to $50,000 for Ronald McDonald House London (RMHC).
RMHC Southwestern Ontario operates 3 programs: a House in London, A Family Room within L.H.S.C. Children’s Hospital, and a House-Within-A-Hospital inside Windsor Regional Hospital. These locations give families a home environment providing emotional and physical comfort at just $10 a night with no family turned away due to inability to pay.
Pictured above with Joe is Nail Ogunjimi who is a native of Nigeria. He came to Canada as an infant and now is on his way to an elite hockey career.
So, London Rep Hockey Association Inc. operating as The London Junior Knights, is directly affiliated with the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario as of June 2000. Prior to this, the Junior Knights were one of seven member associations in the Greater London Hockey Association. The GLHA is also a direct member of the Alliance.
We’re proud that Joe was able to share his role as a AAA Team Ambassador!
